Govt okays stock options for PSU staff

[Details] The government has decided to introduce a stock option scheme for employees in public sector units (PSUs) that are going in for disinvestment or fresh issue of equity. The new scheme would replace the existing one for direct sale of upto 200 shares per employee.

[Details] The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) decision to set up an independent marketing division at the headquarters in the capital has met with stiff opposition within the department.
