MUMBAI, December 18: Diana Hayden carried out her social obligations as Miss World well enough today at the Spastics Society of India at Navy Nagar, where she was invited to meet spastic children. With the mandatory Miss World sash hooked to her with a golden chain, she arrived an hour late, chaperoned by Julia Morley of Miss World Inc, who was appropriately dressed in Indian attire.

Greeted by a song sung by four children she said, ``The song was beautiful, and these children have a lovely twinkle in their eyes.''
