VISAKHAPATNAM, Dec 20: Punjab entered the final of the 46th National Volleyball championships here on Saturday, defeating Indian Railways 7-15, 15-10, 17-15, 15-4.Punjab, who were entering the finals of the championship after a gap of 13 years, led by national player Jagbir Singh, Sukhpal Singh and Suraj Prakash, shaped the victory over Railwaymen, who were champions for the last two years.

Results: Men: Punjab bt Indian Railways 7-15, 15-10, 17-15, 15-4; Kerala bt Andhra Pradesh 8-15, 15-4, 15-5, 15-13. Women: Indian Railways bt Punjab 15-4, 15-1, 15-5; West Bengal bt Tamil Nadu 16-14, 8-15, 15-11, 8-15, 15-5.
