Kalidas Sanskrit Varsity by June

PUNE, Jan 2: The proposed Kalidas Sanskrit University will be opened at Ramtek in June 1998, Chief Minister Manohar Joshi announced here today.Speaking at the convocation ceremony of the Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV), Joshi said he hoped the ancient and rich language would spread across Maharashtra with the state government's dream of a Sanskrit University becoming a reality.The State government had already sanctioned a grant of Rs 47 lakh to the TMV and would further approve Rs 55 lakh required by it, Joshi announced on the occasion.
