Vile Parle trader robbed at gunpoint
January 4: Two robbers entered a Vile Parle moneylender's office on Saturday and, threatening him at gun-point, escaped with booty worth Rs 50,000. Sanjeev Choksi had kept the cash in his office drawer. At around 1.05 pm, two persons entered his office. While one of them took out a revolver, the other brandished a knife. They escaped with the booty.
