In another match, Vikrant Chadha defeated Andrei Youznyi (Rus) 6-1, 6-4. Vishaal Uppal scraped past V Sridhar 6-4, 7-6 (7-1) and Saurav Panja beat Mustafa Ghouse 6-3, 6-1.
