CHANDIGARH, January 8: The results of the painting competition organised by the Chandigarh chapter of the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI) in mid-December have been announced.The results in order of merit are:
Sub-juniors: Sanjam Kaur (Sacred Heart), Sudha Kumari (KV-2, 3BRD); Navneet Dhariwal (Firstep Montessori). Consolation- Bhramleen Kaur (YPS Mohali), Kanika Bhatnagar (DAV Surajpur); Perry Goswami (Sacred Heart).
Juniors: Preeti Sohanpal (St Soldier, Panchkula), Priyanka Khandelwal (Sacred Heart), Puneet Inder Singh (YPS Mohali). Consolation-Ashpreet (GMSSC-39), Tanvir Singh (YPS Mohali), Renu (Swami Ram Tirath), Sandeep Bansal (Satluj Public School, Panchkula).
Seniors: Guntas Randhawa (Sacred Heart), Gurpreet Kesri (YPS Mohali); Supreet Singh (Guru Nanak Public School). Consolation-Shvetambri (Sacred Heart), Gurpreet Singh (GSSS-Pinjore), Mitali Arora (DAV Surajpur).
The first three winners in each category will be given cash prizes of Rs 500, Rs 400 and Rs 300
respectively at a function to be organised soon. A total of 157 students from 16 schools had participated in the competition.
