CHANDIGARH, January 9: As many as 40 property dealers from the City, Panchkula and Mohali attended the Property Dealers' Meet here today.The meet, first of its kind, was organised by the main branch of State Bank of India, Sector 17. Deputy general manager of the bank, M. L. Malhotra presided over the meeting and highlighted salient features of the bank's housing loan scheme and exhorted the property dealers to inspire people to avail this facility which provides loans up to Rs. 10 lakh.
Malhotra informed that the State Bank is offering viable housing loan schemes to its customers and the interest is being charged on daily reducing balance on the quarterly basis. The loans are available with the bank both for construction as well as purchase of built-up houses, he added.
