Man stabbed to death A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death near New Subzi Mandi in Adarsh Nagar in the North-West district on Saturday.According to the police, Mohammad Aslam, a resident of Barola Gaon, was stabbed to death by some unknown assailant in the morning. Aslam, who died on the spot, was a native of Darbhanga in Bihar. 15-year-old raped A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two persons at knife-point on Friday at Parvati village in Ballabhgarh in Faridabad. The girl was sent for a medical examination to a government hospital.According to the police, in the evening Jai Kishan and his friend from a nearby village visited the shop run by the girl's father. The girl was also present in the shop at that time. The accused left the shop after buying some items. They returned later and threatened the girl at knife-point before forcing her into their car. The victims' parents were away at that time. The police said that the youths took the girl to a nearby jungle
and raped her. After sometime she was pushed out of the car on the outskirts of the village. A case has been registered against the duo. Two killed in accidents Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Saturday. In the first incident, Vinod Yadav, a cyclist was crushed to death when his cycle was hit by a truck near Okhla. The truck driver, Pargat Singh, has been arrested.In the other incident, an unidentified person was run over by an unknown vehicle at Kalyanpuri near the old check post on National Highway-24. Two arrested for murder The police have arrested two youths, Muzaffar Mian and Sanjay, for allegedly murdering a truck driver, Bhag Singh, on the night of January 13 at the Azadpur Mandi. According to police, the two had murdered Singh after stealing Rs 1,000 from his truck.Woman foils robbery attempt A woman foiled a robbery attempt at her Sector 10 house in Faridabad when three persons barged in on Friday.Though her
neighbours claimed that the robbers had fired three shots in the air, the police denied the allegation. According to the police, at 8.30 p.m., three armed persons barged into the house of Subhash Bhatia when he was away. One of them took out a pistol and hit Maya Bhatia, Subhash's wife, on her head. Maya managed to free herself from the robbers' clutches and raised an alarm. The three robbers panicked and fled the spot without taking anything. A case has been registered at the local police station.
