MUMBAI, January 22: Balmohan Vidyamandir were in strife. Chasing 342 they were 76 for three against IES English on the penultimate day of four-day (75 overs an innings) Harris Shield Inter-Schools Cricket final, sponsored by Thums-up at MIG ground, Bandra here on Thursday.IES, resuming at 52 for one, scored 275 for eight in their second innings with the second-wicket pair of opener Rubesh Kumar and Rahul Yadav raising 99 before the latter was run-out for 48 (9x4).
Balmohan, who conceded a lead of 66, lost have lost three batsmen for just 76 runs. They have a stiff target tomorrow, needing to score 266 in 52 overs.

GMP trounce Rajputs
Greater Mumbai Police trounced Rajput XI 3-0 in a first Division Rizvi League conducted by the Hockey Association of Mumbai at the St
Andrews Ground, Bandra.
GMP scored the first goal in the second half with Sanjay Pandare scoring the goal. Sanjay Suryavanshi scored the second, and initiated the third, putting through to Vinod Kadam, who placed in the left corner of the goal. This win lifts GMP on the top of the table.
CR beat Nobody
Central Railway overcame a tough challenge from Nobody SC, winning 6-4 in a Senior Division League match organised by Bombay Hockey Association played at the Mahindra stadium.
Central Railway took a 2-0 lead through goals from Yogesh Muthayya. Nobody reduced with Santosh Shetty scoring off a penalty corner. A minute before half-tie, Railway forward Aldrin Bird made it 3-1. Bird scored two another goals with Javed scoring the sixth. Sunil D'Souza then got a hat-trick, but it was too late.
