CHANDIGARH, January 22: Fine all round performance by Himachal Ranji player Jaswant Rai (30 and 4 for 26) helped Accountant General, Punjab scrape past AG Delhi by six runs to make it to the final of the All India Audit and Accounts (North Zone) cricket championship here at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium today.After AG Punjab posted 201 for 6 in the allotted 40 overs, AG Delhi put up a brace show but failed by a mere six runs. Chandershekhar played a valiant innings of 67 and was supported by S Ayub Ali (38) and S Dahiya (32). In the other match, AG Haryana posted 178 for 7 batting first. Skipper Aman Kumar played a resolute innings of 76, getting valuable support from Jatinder (33), but others failed miserably.
