CHENNAI, Jan 28: V Prabhakaran (absconding): The ``supreme leader'' of the LTTE, absconding along with Pottu Amman and Akila and others, designed the criminal conspiracy to assassinate Rajiv Gandhi.Pottu Amman (absconding): Chief of the LTTE intelligence wing, along with Prabhakaran, Akila and others of the LTTE, designed and arranged the execution of the conspiracy.
Akila (absconding): Deputy chief of women's intelligence wing of the LTTE, along with Prabhakaran and Pottu Amman, planned and arranged the achievement of the objective of the criminal conspiracy.
Sivarasan (dead): Also known as Packiachandran alias Raghuvaran; a member of the Intelligence wing, he was entrusted with the task of execution of the objective of the criminal conspiracy.
Dhanu (dead): also known as Anbu alias Kalaivani; a `Tigress', vowed to carry out the object of LTTE, she was entrusted with the task of exploding the bomb concealed in her person at the public meeting to kill Rajiv Gandhiand others around him, to strike terror among the public and to die without exposing the other conspirators.
Subha (dead): Also known as Nithya; another Tigress; she was entrusted with the task of executing the plan along with Dhanu.
S Hari Babu (dead): An Indian Tamil, who resided in Chennai city, was a photographer trained by Subha Sundaram. He was an active LTTE sympathiser and a close associate of Murugan, Bhagyanathan, Perarivalan and Subha Sundaram.
Nehru (dead): Also known as Nero alias Gokul; a member of the intelligence wing, he came to Tamil Nadu clandestinely along with eight others on May 1, 1991.
Nalini: An Indian Tamil residing in Chennai, was enlisted by Sivarasan for the purpose of carrying out the designs of the criminal conspiracy.
Santhan, Murugan: Santhan was also known as Suthendraraja, while Murugan also carried the names of V Sriharan alias Thass alias Indu Master:
Shanker, Vijayanandan, Ruban: Shanker was also known as Koneswaran;Vijayanandan as Hariayya; and Ruban as Suresh; they are Sri Lankan Tamils, of whom Shanker and Ruban are LTTE cadres. Vijayanandan is an active supporter of LTTE working for the organisation.
S Kanagasabhapathy, Chandralekha: Kanagasabapathy also carried the name Radhaayya, while Chandralekha was also known as Athirai; they are Sri Lankan Tamils. Kangasabhapathy is a supporter of the LTTE and Chandralekha is a `tigress' belonging to the Intelligence Wing. She had been sent from Sri Lanka to India by Pottu Amman to act according to instructions of Sivarasan in carrying out the objective of the criminal conspiracy.
ROBERT PAYAS, JAYAKUMAR, SHANTHI, S VIJAYAN, SELVALUXMI, S BASKARAN: Robert Payas, Jayakumar, and Vijayan are Sri Lankan Tamils and strong supporters of LTTE, having been sent to India to help achieve the objectives of the criminal conspiracy. J Shanthi, wife of S Jayakumar, Selvaluxmi (wife of S Vijayan) and S Baskaran (father of Selvaluxmi) are Indian Tamils and active supportersof the LTTE who rendered all assistance to Sivarasan and other members.
SHANMUGAVADIVELU: Also known as Thambi Anna, he is a Sri Lankan Tamil and an active supporter of the LTTE. He was closely associated with Sivarasan and Santhan. He was keeping the funds given by Sivarasan for meeting the expenditure of members of the conspiracy and distributing it to them. He was also converting gold brought from Jaffna, into cash.P RAVICHANDRAN, M SUSEENDRAN: The former was also known as Ravi alias Pragasam, while the latter also carried the name Magesh; They are Indian Tamils trained by the LTTE in Sri Lanka and were sent back to India for carrying out the objective of the conspiracy.
PERARIVALAN, IRUMBORAI: The former was known as Arivu, and the latter as Duraisingam; they are residents of Tamil Nadu and active LTTE supporters.S BHAGYANATHAN: He is the brother of S Nalini and son of S Padma.
S PADMA: She is the mother of Nalini and Bhagyanathan.
A SUNDARAM: also known asSubha Sundaram; a family friend and a well-wisher of S Nalini, S Bhagyanathan and S Padma (all four of them are active supporters of LTTE). K DHANASHEKARAN: Also known as Raju, he is an Indian Tamil residing in TN and had actively assisted the conspirators by purchasing vehicles for use in their activities.
RANGAN, VICKY: The former was also known as N Rajasuriya and the latter as T Vigneswaran; they are Sri Lankan Tamils who infiltrated into TN clandestinely. J RANGANATH: An Indian Tamil residing in Karnataka and an active supporter of LTTE. He harboured the proclaimed offenders Sivarasan, Subha and others.
SHANMUGAM (dead): Also known as Jayaraj; he was an Indian Tamil settled at Kodiakkarai, Vedaranyam, who rendered assistance to the gang of nine and other members of the conspiracy.
GUNDU SANTHAN (dead): Also known as Trichy Santhan. He was an LTTE cadre who infiltrated into TN clandestinely and was in charge of the political wing of LTTE in TN.
SURESH MASTER, DIXON, AMMAN,ANNA, JAMUNA: Dixon was also known as Kishore, Anna as Keerthi and Jumana as Jameela; they were all LTTE cadres who infiltrated into TN clandestinely.
