BHOPAL, January 29: The Madhya Pradesh Government has shifted the district collector and the superintendent of police of Khargone district reportedly on the directive of the Election Commission.Sources said the Election Commission had sought the removal of the collector and the superintendent of police after the Adivasi Mukti Sangathan, a non governmental organisation working among the tribals of Khargone, alleged that a free and fair election was not possible without shifting these officials.
