Express News ServiceFebruary 5:The 60-year-old Suburban Music Circle, one of the oldest music institutions in the city, is celebrating its diamond jubilee from February 11 to 15. It has organised a five-day music festival for music lovers in the city. Bhimsen Joshi, Ravi Shankar, Pandit Jasraj, Ali Akbar Khan and others are slated to perform at the festival, which will open at Nehru Centre on February 1. It will be inaugurated by the Governor Dr P C Alexander. Padma Bhushan Naushad will the chief guest, and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan will perform at the inauguration ceremony. Performances for the rest of the festival will be held at Bhaidas Hall, Vile Parle.
