Self-discipline campaign for six seaters

PUNE, February 10: Krantiveer six-seater Rickshaw Sanghatana, led by Badshah Sayyad, will organise a `self-discipline' campaign for six-seater operators from February 11. The campaign, to be organised in association with Patit Pawan Sanghatana leader Sandeep Khardekar, will be launched near Katraj bus stop at Swargate on Feb 11 at 11 a.m.During the campaign, six-seater operators will be instructed not to carry more than six passengers, not to allow any passenger to sit near the driver, to avoid stopping for passengers near traffic signals and bus stops, and to obey all traffic rules. The campaign will be launched at a function to be attended by leaders of the six-seater organisation and representatives of various voluntary organisations including Suryakant Pathak of Grahak Panchayat, a statement issued here said.
