  Romeo and Juliet romance revisited
Handcuffed and surrounded by armed guards, Kanwar Ahson, a Mohajir man whose marriage to a girl from a rival ethnic group triggered widespread riots, was taken into custody on Thursday. His bride, an ethnic Pathan, was reportedly in hiding after her father and members of her tribe sentenced her to death for eloping with Ahson.
Swiss menswear ad campaign angers Turkish press, ambassador
A Swiss clothing company received more attention than it bargained for when it included a Turkish theme in an eye-catching advertising campaign for its menswear. Switzerland's largest manufacturer of menswear, Strellson AG, had been happy with the Benetton-style campaign run by the Munich-based advertising agency RG Wiesmeier since last autumn.

Crowning glory
Daniel Pereira's office, near SNDT College on Juhu Tara Road, looks like a toss-up between a photo studio and a beauty parlour. The myth called the Muslim vote monolith
Will Muslims vote en bloc for one party? Or will they listen to Sayyed Shahabuddin and go for tactical voting to tilt the balance in favour of anyone who looks like defeating the BJP? Old questions, bolstered by the myth that the Indian Muslims comprise a monolithic vote bank, are being asked again as the election for the 12th Lok Sabha is mid-way.
