BANGALORE, February 20: Three jockeys -- K P G Appu, S Rajesh and Ram Patil -- were injured as they fell from their mounts and were hospitalised during the Bangalore races here today.In the Kollegal Plate, Rajesh on Selkirk, Appu on Galleon de Espania and Patil on Dream Debut, were injured. They were later stated to be out of danger. In the main event, Aswapriya Cup, favourite Claiborne was ridden to victory by C Krishnan. The winner is owned by Darashah and trained by Z Darashah. The mount was a gift for Krishnan as he rode the winner in place of injured Appu.
Trainers Darashah and R R Byramji and jockeys Aslam Khader and Shakthi Singh scored a double each on a day when four favourites obliged punters in nine events.
Followings are the results with dividends paid at Mahalakshmi and Pune for the 31st day of Bangalore Winter Meeting held on Friday.
