Kochi, February 25: The dismissal of the Kalyan Singh ministry in Uttar Pradesh by Governor Romesh Bhandari and its re-installation by the Allahabad High Court would positively influence BJP's prospects in the impending Lok Sabha elections, according to Sikander Bhakt, MP and Opposition leader of the Rajya Sabha.``The developments in UP have served as a morale booster to the party's election campaign and have added strength to the party. Only BJP is going to gain in this issue'', Bhakt said, addressing a fraternal meeting organised by the BJP Ernakulam committee here on Tuesday.
The party has gained acceptance from all sections of society and support is flooding from all parts of the country. BJP and its allies would comfortably win the elections and A B Vajpayee would be the next Prime Minister, Bhakt said. Bhakt confessed that his party had made a big mistake in accepting the support of Naresh Agarwal for Kalyan Singh Government.
