BHILAI, February 25: Venkatapathy Raju did it again for Hyderabad with a five-wicket haul that helped the team bundle out Madhya Pradesh for 225 in the first innings and snatch a vital five points in their Ranji Trophy Group C Super League match at the Jayanti Stadium here on Tuesday.Madhya Pradesh were 13 without loss in their second essay at the end of the penultimate day.
The Hyderabad spinners -- Raju and Kanwaljeet Singh -- wrecked MP's strong batting line-up. Debutant Nikhil Patwardhan's 51 and opener Kirti patel's 48 were the only solace. Rajesh Chauhan played a cameo knock of 35 which included a six while Patwardhan smashed four boundaries in an over off N P Singh to complete his half-century but lost his wicket off the last ball of the same over.
