BCCI leaves players stranded

Andre Agassi, on a mission to climb back to the top, continued his ascent with a quick 6-2, 6-4 victory over Sergi Bruguera. Other Newsweek Champions Cup second-round winners yesterday included No. 2 seed Petr Korda, with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 victory over Scott Draper.
