GENEVA, March 19: India today came down heavily on Pakistan for its recent allegations of involvement of Indian investigating agency, RAW, in bomb blasts in that country describing it as a tirade to cover-up its own folly.The Pakistan accusations were a gambit to hide its ``blatant and open complicity in training, directing and investigating terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of India'' which was now coming under international scrutiny, India's deputy permanent representative to the UN, H K Singh told the ongoing 53rd session of the UN Human Rights Commission here.
Earlier, Pakistan Foreign Minsiter, Gohar Ayub, who had recently indulged in India bashing at home and at OIC conference in Doha in Qatar at weekend alleged RAW complicity in unabated violence in Pakistan.
Dismissing these accusations as ``baseless and contemptuous'', Singh described the attack by the Pakistan foreign minister as unfortunate, coming at a time when India was ``trying it's best to built new bridges of friendshipand cooperation with that country, despite its long record of hostile actions against us''.
