Makeover magic

Heroines often think they are the cat's whiskers when they look into the mirror. But really, they could be the fairest of them all if they took tips from make-up expert Danny Tung:

  • Madhuri Dixit. Naturally, her plus point is her million dollar smile. But she doesn't play it up and accentuate it to its fullest. "Nice face," says Danny but cautions that she should under-play her make-up.

  • Juhi Chawla. She is heading the right way, he says, as she is working toward a natural look. Juhi should definitely avoid the glossy look. Or else, she may end up looking like a jam sandwich.

  • Kajol. She is pretty, but she can tempt any beautician's tweezers into a frenzy. Kajol should do away with the hair between her brows. "Looking different is good but her brows make her look angry all the time."

  • Mamta Kulkarni. She too should work on her eyebrows to get a hipper look. And yes, she should abstain from too much pancake.

  • Karisma Kapoor. She is doing just fine -- not too much, not too little. Her eyebrows, the new shape, it's made a world of difference.

  • Urmila Matondkar. She, says Danny, has no particular strong feature. But body language works wonders.
