  Screen awards presented
A glitzy evening, with all the vibrant ingredients -- glamour, colour and verve -- thrown in, marked the Screen-Videocon film award presentation held in Chennai on April 5th. The highlight of the evening was definitely the father-daughter duo -- veteran actor Gemini Ganesan and the beautiful Rekha. It was indeed a touching moment when the father received the Screen-Videocon's Lifetime Achievement Award from the daughter.
Looking for harmony, the Reliance way
Tina Ambani's Harmony exhibition was unveiled in the city, last week. The third year of her high-profile involvement in the world of art, the event has already attained a high degree of chic for the chichi. Only 20 yards away from his office, this fully air-conditioned gym is equipped with a deck, a CD player and two guitars.
Roving Eye
Envy time -- There were two fashion shows that dominated the week. The Envy collection -- part of this Heera Panna store's new range -- was the first to grace the ramp, on Wednesday. Put together by Aseem Merchant (whose wife Mamta Raje is the store's ambassadress) the latest collections of Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Envy and Iceberg were on display. The clothes on show were largely casual and the designer's jeans dominated the range.

Sycophancy is the buzz-word in AICC show
The line dividing loyalty and sycophancy in the post-'70s Congress has been thin. The slogan, "Indira is India", was perhaps the best indicator of the height of loyalty. But more than two decades later, Indira Gandhi's daughter-in-law today declared that sycophancy had no place in the party under her.
