Goa registers more tourists

PANAJI, April 7: Over 13,000 foreign tourists visited Goa in March, registering an increase in the arrivals by about 2,000 as against the corresponding period last year. As many as 13,718 tourists from UK, Germany, Holland and Scandinavian countries arrived last month as against the 11,739 who came in March 1997, an official release today said.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
