  Zimbabwe wilt after Flowers wither
Zimbabwe's hopes of reaching the finals of the Pepsi cricket series were quashed when they lost by 16 runs to Australia at New Delhi yesterday. Australia, batting first, made 294 for the loss of three wickets in their 50 overs. Zimbabwe, in reply, managed only 278, losing nine wickets in the process.
  Paes goes down to Rafter
Indian tennis ace Leander Paes crashed out of te Gold Flake Open when he lost 3-6, 6-7 (5-7) in the semi-finals to top-seeded Patrick Rafter of Australia. Rafter will now face Sweden's Mikael Tillstrom in the final. Tillstrom defeated Australian Todd Woodbridge 6-2, 6-2 in the other semi-final.

India fall to Argentina
