Karnataka, Services win

GUWAHATI, April 12: Karnataka, Nagaland, Services and Kerala won their respective matches in the 54th Senior National Santosh Trophy played in Assam today.

At the Nehru Stadium here, in a Cluster E match, Railways drew with Manipur goalless in a lacklustre encounter.

In a cluster B match at Silchar, Karnataka beat Uttar Pradesh 3-0 while in a cluster F match at Nagaon, Kerala beat Tripura 2-0 to enter the quarter-final.

In a cluster A match at Duliajan, Services entered the quarter-final beating Chandigarh 4-1 while Nagaland beat Harayana 2-1 in another match.

In Calcutta, veteran midfielder Satyajit Chatterjee will lead the 22-member Bengal squad for the Santosh Trophy being played in Assam.
