Paes eyes crucial break at Baroda

Perhaps, that is the primary reason why the Indian great, Leander Paes, after his semi-final showing at the $430,000 Gold Flake Open in Chennai last week, chose to play in a lesser tournament -- moneywise than pointwise -- on a surface which he still wants to term it as his favourite.

Warne doubtful for Sharjah
Australian Shane Warne, whose reputation as world class leg-spinner has been destroyed by Indian batsmen in the current tour, is almost certain to miss the Sharjah tour because of a reported shoulder injury. Warne suffered a shoulder ligament damage while attempting a catch during Australia's 16-run win over Zimbabwe in the ongoing tri-series on Saturday.
