The Varanasi-bound special trains for teachers on the Central Railway have been rescheduled. The trains, originally scheduled for May 1 and 2, will now run on May 4 and 5, as municipal schools will break for the vacations only on May 3. Debate on Pre-primary Act -- A discussion on a stipulation in Pre-primary Act prohibiting the use of textbooks at the pre-school level will be held on April 15 at Balmohan Vidyamandir at 3 pm. Organised by the Citizens' Organisation for Fairness and Equality in Education, the seminar will be attended by Professor Ram Joshi, the Director, Text Book Bureau, Director SCERT, and the BMC's education officer.

Arrangements for Trishakti

The security arrangements and co-ordination of the Air Force Trishakti defence exhibition held at Andheri Sports Complex on April 10 and 11 and the Combined Services Air Show at Marine Drive were conducted by the Air Force police under the direct supervision of Air Force Police Officer Squadron Leader M CPandey, Commanding Officer, Air Force Police, Mumbai.

MTNL extends bill payment date

MTNL has extended the date for paying bills dated April 15 to April 23. The extension is valid for codes 536, 541, 565 and 567 of the Thane and Mulund exchanges.
