Accident victim succumbs to injuries

MUMBAI, April 21: Linus Ornelles Lobo a 28-year-old resident of Khadki who sustained serious injuries in a road mishap on Elphinston Road in Khadki, succumbed to his injuries while being administere treatment at Sassoon hospital on Monday evening.Linus had suffered the injuries when the scooter he was riding pillion on skidded in front of the Methodist Church on the night of April 18. His brother Fleind (25), who was riding the scooter was also injured in the mishap. Fliend is still undergoing treatment at the Sassoon hospital. Police said both Linus and Fleind were riding toward Khadki from Yerawada when the mishap took place. Meanwhile, the Yerawada police have filed a case against Fleind.
