It's an ad mad world

Saurabh Roy
Ankur had just heard the chirping from his new Jaico alarm clock and he knew it was time to get up. Barely managing to pull himself out from the comfort of his Dunlop mattress, he went on to his `Glamour room' with his Parryware basin and Spartek tiles and in slow motion and with sleepy eyes he picked up a can of foam and gave himself a treat of Gilette shave. It was not exactly the beginning of the smooth day as his Timex Indigo reminded him that he was already late.

A quick shower with his new Park Avenue, he towelled himself dry, barely appreciating the aesthetic beauty of the Bombay Dyeing towel. Rushing to his Godrej Storewell, he pulled out his Peter England shirt, but not satisfied, he put on a Louis Philippe piece, he then wore a Raymond trousers with a pure leather belt tightened around his waist.

As he rushed down to the stairs, one could hardly detect any concern for those Lee Cooper shoes he was wearing. He pulled out his new Yamaha RXZ rode off, to his office. At the office there had to be some coffee and nothing less than a Nescafe could do the required.

The day at the office was tiring and even the repeated cups of the strongest (Bru) coffee couldn't cure the headache so, as soon as he reached home, Ankur took a Disprin and settled down to watch the BPL BQR-25 TV which was believed to be the best. After all he had to keep up with the changing world as it was an Ad Mad World.
