19-yr-old's body found
A 19-year-old woman reportedly committed suicide at Jharera village in the Delhi cantonment area. Her body was found hanging from the ceiling on Wednesday morning. The deceased was married in February 1997. The police have registered a case under Section 498 and 304 of the Indian Penal Code after taking statements from the woman's father. Further investigations are on.

Groups clash in wedding procession
A marriage procession ran into trouble when rival groups clashed in village Dasdhara in south west Delhi. According to the police, when the marriage procession from Rewari in Haryana was heading towards Todapur through the Dasdhara village, some local miscreants, reportedly in an inebriated state, misbehaved with the women. The people in the procession objected, they were allegedly roughed up. Soon, there were groups of people on the street pelting stones at each other. A resident of the area, Nandram, has been arrested on the charge of rioting.

One crushed to death
A man was reportedly crushed to death by an unidentified vehicle in the Vikas Marg area of Shakkarpur on Wednesday night. He was hit by a vehicle coming from the opposite side when he was crossing the road. The man, who died on the spot, has not been identified yet.

Minor fire breaks out
A minor fire broke out in an electrical shop in the Chittaranjan Park Market II early on Thursday morning. No casualties have been reported so far. Though the cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet, authorities suspect a short-circuit caused it.
