Anglo Arabic outplay Hamdard

NEW DELHI, April 28: Anglo Arabic School, Ajmeri Gate proved too good for Hamdard Public School whom they whipped by six goals to one in the Nivia Football Tournament.

Nandi was the star of Anglo Arabic's win with a fine hat-trick which he achieved within 15 minutes after kick off. Akhtar pulled one back for Hamdard before half time when Anglo Arabic led 3-1.

In the second session, Anglo Arabic added three more goals to their tally. Uttam (2) and Sarup Datta were the scorers.

In another match, Modern School, Vasant Vihar and DAV Public School, Dayanand Vihar shared points by virtue of their two-all draw. Siddharth Agarwal gave Modern School the lead in the 10th minute which was equalised by Sandeep for DAV School. After the change of ends it was the turn of Siddharth Singh to put DAV in the lead before Ankit netted Ankit's equaliser in the 24th minute.

MADAN SINGH MEMORIAL: District Office, Mayapuri Club won the inaugural Madan Singh Memorial Football Tournament defeating Bagga Tent Club 2-1 in the final held at the President's Estate ground. Striker Madvanand and Trilok Sing Bisht scored for Mayapuri Club while Arjun Negi struck for Bagga Club.

262 for 7 (Vishal Sharma 101, Sandeep Rawat 53) beat Delhi Gymkhana: 119 (Vishal Sharma 4 for 17).
NSCC: 198 (Shailender 57, Ramesh Chopra 40, Rahul Bansal 3 for 53, Prem Khanna 2 for 19) beat Young Association: 173 (Deepak Joon 66, Prem Khanna 33, Kuldeep Rawat 4 for 24, Rakesh Chopra 4 for 32).
Bara Hindu Rao: 212 (Mohd Waseem 73, Yashpal Khurana 58, Gaurav Sharma 3 for 54) lost to Professional Management: 215 for 3.
Friends Club: 148 (Sunil Sharma 4 for 38) lost to Bank of Baroda: 150 for 6 (Sunil Sharma 54 not out, Yashpal 3 for 28).
