Shops burgled

PUNE, May 3: Cash and other articles, totally worth over Rs 24,000 were stolen from two adjoining shops at Wadgaonsheri on Pune-Ahmednagar Road yesterday.The unidentified thieves forced entry into Rajendra Bhandari's Sagar Provisional Stores and an adjoining grocer's shop by breaking the locks and bending the shutters with a crowbar, Yerwada police said.
