Detention of scribes: SSP to conduct probe

CHANDIGARH, May 3: SSP CSR Reddy, will conduct an enquiry into the illegal confinement and intimidation of Indian Express reporter Saurabh Malik and another scribe Kishore Pathania, by Asa Nand, DSP Vigilance, in the district courts premises.Following the incident yesterday, a complaint was made to Inspector General of Police R.P. Singh. When contacted today, the IGP told Newsline: "The complaint has been forwarded to the SSP for necessary action.''The SSP said that investigations into the matter were on.
