FY B Com seating at Hill Memorial

VADODARA, May 3: For the first time in the history of the M S University, the seating arrangement for the students of F Y B Com have been made outside the faculty in the Hill Memorial School, Fatehgunj. The examinations are scheduled to begin from Monday. Earlier, the seating arrangement for first year students was made on the Polytechnic campus, but exams are underway there.

The Commerce faculty has about 13,500 students, the highest among all faculties. This year 7300 students will appear for their first year examinations.

Authorities in the Commerce faculty said that it was decided to conduct the examinations outside the campus because it was not possible to accommodate all students in the faculty at a time.

Dean of the Commerce faculty B S Patel said, ``The number of students in the faculty is the largest. Hence the students have to be shifted to other faculties.'' Patel further told Express Newsline that the first year examinations would be conducted in two phases, to enable about 700 students appear for their C A Foundation course examinations.
