33 kg of ganja recovered
The Subzi Mandi police claim to have recovered 33 kg of ganja from two persons on Saturday.Pradeep Sharma, 23, and Sapan Sarkar, 19, both residents of Cooch Bihar in West Bengal, were travelling in a TSR when they were stopped by the police at Malkaganj Chowk.
Inspection of a trunk that the two were carrying reportedly lead to the recovery of the drugs.
Two held for snatching Rs 70
The Sarai Rohilla police arrested two persons on Sunday on the charge of snatching Rs 70 from a TSR driver near Gulabibagh.
The two persons arrested have been identified as Kishan Kumar and Pritam Chand, both aged 22.
Auto-lifters arrested
The Badarpur police have arrested two alleged auto-liftersJagdish, 21, and Guddu, 24.
Two Maruti cars and one motorcycle have been recovered from them.
Six cases of automobile theft have reportedly been worked out with their arrest.
Liquor haul
The PCR van staff stationed near Raghubir Nagar have recovered 128 quarters of whiskey. The recovery was made when the officials noticed a person abandoning a scooter after spotting the PCR van.
The scooter and liquor have been handed over to the Raghubir Nagar police post. The driver of the scooter has not been traced yet.
