Beginning on May 25, 1998, Kathak Darpan is essentially for those have already been initiated into this dance form. The five-day workshop will be complemented by three special events -- on May 27, Panditji will hold an informal discussion with those uninitiated into Kathak, on May 29 there will be a discussion on Are Indian Dances a Neglected Art Form among renowned dancers from all forms; and on the morning of May 31, there will be a lec-dem by the maestro.

There is no fee for the workshop but it is intended for people who have a strong interest in Kathak and are already initiated into it. Those interested must submit the application forms, available at the Nehru Centre, by May 18, 1997.
