BANGALORE: Army Service Corps held holders Madras Engineering Group (MEG) to a goalless draw in the Pool A in the DRDO Arjun Cup All India football tournament here today.

The match was one of missed chances and fancied MEG, who dominated the proceedings, wasted more opportunities. MEG had defeated BEML earlier.

Bills cleared
BANGALORE: The Karnataka assembly today passed the supplementary estimates (first instalment) of Rs 204.37 crores, including Rs 70 crores required by the state government to clear pending bills connected with the National Games.

Deputy chief minister Siddaramaiah, who moved thesupplementary estimates, said the amount included payment of interest and principal amount on overdraft facilities taken from banks in connection with the conduct of the Games.
