Thackeray mum on Naik's fate

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NAVI MUMBAI, May 18: The Shiv Sena seems to be stuck on the matter of countering the rebellion in its ranks engineered by dismissed State Forest Minister Ganesh Naik.

With the split in the Navi Mumbai Muncipal Corporation by Naik and the impending mayoral elections on May 20, Thane district Shiv Sena leaders expected Sena leader Bal Thackeray to declare Naik's expulsion from the party today at a meeting in Thackeary's residence. The Sena chief merely asked them to ensure victory in the mayoral elections.
