MUMBAI, May 17: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will open 13 admission assistance centres for aided and non-aided private schools in various wards next month.Earlier, the Education Department of the BMC operated admission centres which distributed admission forms and allotted admissions in private schools for Std. I-IV classes. However,the centres open throughout June will now supply only information about schools where admissions are available. No requests for admission forms will be entertained nor will schools be directed to grant admissions.
The centres are: Municipal School, Manohardas Street, Boribunder (A,B and C wards); Municipal School, Gilder Road, Mumbai Central ( D and E); Municipal School, Telang Road, Matunga (F/south and F/north wards); Municipal School, Woollen Mill Lane, Dadar (W) (G/north and G/south); Petit Municipal School, Waterfield Road, Bandra (W) (H/east/H/west); Municipal School, Nityanand Marg, Andheri(E) (K); M Sunderji Municipal School, Vile Parle (W) (Kwest); Devshi Municipal School, Ghatkopar (L and N); Subhash Nagar Mahanagarpalika School, Chembur, (M/east and M/west); IB Patel Municipal School, Goregaon (P/south,R/south); Municipal School, Daftary Road, Malad, (P/north); Municipal Medium School, Rajda Nagar, Borivli (west) (R/north), 13) (IDUBS Hindi Primary School, Station Road, Bhandup, (T and S wards).
