Principal's death condoled
The governing body and management of Mount Carmel School, Sector 46, has expressed grief over the demise of founder chairman of the school, Samuel John, who passed away on May 16. The funeral will take place at Sector 41 B Church of God on May 23 at 4 pm. The school office will remain closed till May 26 in memory of the departed soul.Statement flayed
The Chandigarh Beopar Mandal while condemning the statement of Traders' Association, Sector 17, has said that their body is a non-political forum "committed to the cause of traders in the City". An official spokesman of the Mandal said that the body has had elections every two years and the last elections were held in April 1996.
