Workshop ONECCE on Friday

VADODARA, May 17: The Early Childhood Development - Learning Resource Centre in collaboration with UNICEF will organise a workshop on `Role of Media in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE): Advocacy and Awareness' on May 22 at Hotel Surya Palace between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm.The workshop aims to seek support from the media and sensitise teachers, parents and society as a whole about ECCE. Ila Verma of UNICEF will speak about the workshop followed by a key-note address by professor Amita Verma, Honorary Advisor of WHOTRAC (WSRC). M S University Vice-Chancellor Padma Ramachandran will also be present on the occasion. Professor Prerana Mohite of the M S University's Home Science Department and Dr Siddharath Nirupam will speak on `Current Perspective on Early Child Development' at the workshop. In the concluding session, Ila Verma will hold an open discussion on the involvement of the media in Early Child Development.
