Jagdeep Dhankar, counsel for Khan, pointed out that the lower court had ignored the decision of the SC in connection with a case pertaining to Raj Kapoor's film Satyam Shivam Sundaram. According to this order, no prosecution was legally sustainable in relation to any dialogue which formed part of a film certified under the Cinematograph Act of 1952.
