Chetan stars in Gymkhana's 4-wicket win

NEW DELHI, May 22: Powered by a fine knock of 74 by Chetan Sharma, Rohtak Road Gymkhana prevailed over Subhania c.c by four wickets in the A1 division DDCA League match at the Kotla No 1 ground here today.

Subhania c.c: 181 in 39.3 overs (Amit Sharma 50, Vishal Bambi 40, Hanish Arora 40, Nanda 3 for 27, Joginder 2 for 35, Raja 2 for 34).

R.R.Gymkhana: 182 for 6 in 38.1 overs (Chetan Sharma 74, Gurpreet 2 for 24).

In a A-2 division match at the University ground, K.N.Colts c.c (206 in 38.4 overs: Shyam Tiwari 44, Bharat 28, Ish Kumar 28, Suresh Kochar 28, Amit Sharma 3 for 40, Sachin Gupta 2 for 35, Manish Dabur 2 for 20) beat Inborn c.c (180 for 8 in 40 overs: Wasim Raja 50, Sachin Gupta 32, Shyam Tiwari 3 for 29) by 26 runs.

At the Yamuna Sports Complex, Ircon c.c (145 for 8 in 35.3 overs: Sunil Aggarwal 50, Naterpal 34 n.o, Nishant 26, Shantanu Raja 5 for 35, Satish Kumar 2 for 26) overcame Golden Hawk c.c (143 in 35.3 overs: S.Rawat 30, Sarabjit Singh 19, Gurmeet 3 for 19, Rajender 3 for 27) by two wickets in a A 2 division.

In another A 2 division match at the Khalsa College ground, Tilak Nagar c.c (189 for 7 in 39 overs: Vikash Ravada 38, Kamal Natayal 29, Mahesh 3 for 36) beat DTC c.c (188 in 37 overs: Kulvinder Singh 58, Mahesh Sharma 56, J.K.Khetarpal 3 for 20, Surender Sharma 3 for 25, R.S. Toni 2 for 22, Pawan Kumar 2 for 25) by three wickets.

In a B division match at the St Stepehn's College ground, Central Bank c.c (227 in 31.4 overs: Bantoo Singh 88, Ranbir Singh 57, Nitin Goel 30, Manoj Sharma 28) defeated Pahari Dhiraj c.c (224 for 8 in 35 overs: Kishan Saini 62, Shammi Wadhwa 51 n.o, Tek Chand Dhingra 2 for 47, Ranbir Singh 2 for 57) by six wickets.
