P Harikrishna and K Humpy both world champions from Andhra Pradesh took their own sweet time to topple their rivals. Harikrishna could have finished his game much earlier against his Maharashtra rival N Kamat.

Harikrishna probably to get some practice and acclimatisation may have done it. But Humpy swiftly cut short her rivals moves. She was not in a mood to prolong the proceedings and Gujarat's Vivek Kothari was all at sea against here. Probably he was overawed by the world champions reputation.
