Farooq goes all out to ensure win in Leh seat

Vipin Pub
LEH (J&K), May 25: The ruling National Conference is making a desperate attempt to wrest the Leh Lok Sabha seat to break-even its performance in the Lok Sabha elections from the state.

The party had won two seats equalling the performance of the BJP, while the Congress had won one, of the six seats from the sensitive state. The National Conference, led by the chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah, had claimed that it would win all the six seats. A win in the Leh-Ladakh constituency therefore, has become a prestigious issue for the party.
