In a keen contest, Sista and Dr Rao finished at the top setting aside the challenge of Renu Patel and Rajul Dalal also from Mumbai who finished their campaign with 154 points. There was a tie for the third place, when two pairs finished with an identical tally of 144 points. The Mumbai pair of Kamala Satyanathan and Dr Subir Ray finally comming out triumphs having won in the tie-breaker. The Pune pair of Sudha Sanghvi and Ogale secured the fourth place.
