Walk this way
Models no longer need to hang up their boots when their careers come to an end. Now, they can still be a part of the world of fashion. A whole new breed of fashion choreographers -- drawing from a breed of ex models -- has cropped up and today, they have ended up dominating the ramp.

Going Ballistic in London
In a week, though the word "ballistic" had crossed my mind twice, nothing prepared me for the five big ones that India shook the civilised world with, last Monday. At Earl Brown's concert seated by Ginette, his wife, I actually witnessed close to 500 people, may be more, go ballistic when he sang `I Believe In Miracles, You Sexy Thing', no reference to me, or India going nuke, I can safely swear, but thanks to the film The Full Monty his music is having a fantastic revival.

Roving Eye
Last Monday, the Fashion Bistro & Cafe held a small but well-attended fashion show. Choreographed by Sangeeta Chopra, the ramp had Marc Robinson, Achla Sachdev and Diandra Soares wearing the designs of Shaina NC, Lascelles Symons, Bhamini Subramanium and Rocky S. A good selection, as both Lascelles and Rocky are designers in demand.
