Subhash Chandra Garg, 46, had left his Sector-9 Parvana Vihar house in the morning. His driver Rishikanth drove him to the the brick kiln. While coming back to Delhi, a white Maruti car, (no DL 4C 496) which was already waiting at the brick kiln, followed Garg's Maruti car. It overtook Garg's car near the LPG bottling plant in Loni and forced Garg's driver to stop. Three persons came out of the other car, dragged Garg out of his car. After blindfolding him, they bundled him into their car at gun point and fled.Rishikanth, Garg's driver reached a nearby police post and reported the matter to the police. The incident took place at around 1 pm.

The family members, when contacted by the police said that they had no idea as to what could have led to the abduction. Police have registered a case.
