UTI to seek bank account details
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
CALCUTTA: All existing and prospective investors of Unit Trust of India (UTI), the largest public sector mutual fund in the country, would be required to furnish details relating to bank account number from July 1.UTI executive director (operations and systems) A K Thakur said here today that this was being done to check interception of cheques and dividend warrants by miscreants.
